LES/SAÉ portfolio (University)
What is an LES/SAÉ?
The SAÉ, or Learning and Evaluation Situation, is "a set composed of one or more tasks to be carried out by the student in order to achieve the set goal". It allows the student to develop and exercise a skill essential for obtaining their university degree. An SAÉ focuses on pedagogy that includes objectives, a method, and its evaluation. The coherence between these three pillars is what is sought within it.
It is also used by the teacher to monitor the development of the student's skills and to assist them in learning. The student will face several authentic and complex professional situations during their university course in order to acquire and evaluate their skills. Skills become the heart of the system, as the SAÉs represent 40% of the final grade of the training.
